Expat Diaries: Cali First Thoughts

Smiles. High Heels. Diversity. Fake Butts. HEAT.

Those were my first thoughts when coming to Cali.

Cali reminds me a lot of Miami: the heat, the importance of imagine and the energy of the city. People are extremely helpful and genuinely care about your well-being. Its tourism industry is not booming like Bogota, so the sound of English draws lots of attention, stares and questions, especially when it’s coming from a 5’11” black girl :-)
