SENA (NATIONAL TRAINING SERVICE, COLOMBIA)
Problem:
Designated as the Colombian government’s official training institution, SENA was established in 1957 as a joint initiative of workers, industry owners and the Catholic Church, with support from the Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT) – the International Workers Organization. Tasked with achieving major social and economic goals for the Colombian nation.
Solution
Recruited to educate, inspire and prepare Colombia’s young workforce to complete in the Global Market.
Taught 75 students leadership development and industry specific English to prepare them for the global workforce
Designed and facilitated the “Young Women’s Empowerment Circle” a space for women in the campus community to converse and strategize about solutions to current issues and explore their full potential.
